Buddha Graphical Gibson Les Paul Kit
I have placed the scratch plates from this kit onto a Gibson 1996 wine red studio Les Paul.
I am under the assumption that all parts such as humbucker rings, toggles and scratch plate grooves in the body of the guitar are original as manufactured and assembled.
1. The scratch plates fit just fine. In particular the pickguard fits the humbucker rings just as expected, firm and close, nicely crafted.
2. The front toggle plate fits and conforms to the curviture of the guitar body as expected. In particular, the thickness of the plate is perfect.
3. The back toggle plate required me to screw new locations, no biggie.
4. The back harness plate is well crafted and screwed right in.
5. The truss rod cover is a little disappointing. First, the side cuts are all perpendicular straight cuts. I think I need to file or sand the cuts on an angle, so its like the original part. Its a thick piece, half to 3/4 the height, as it is now,...
